Clyo – James Bourne "Jamie" Porter, 62, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 at Memorial Health.

The Screven County native had worked for Georgia Pacific for 35 years. He loved gardening, woodworking, hunting, but especially his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Janice Porter; and his sister, Debra Porter.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Carter Porter; children, Wesley Porter (Rosie), Leia Wampler (Ethan), Harley Ballard (Dalton), and Hunter Bennett (Shaw); grandchildren, Braxton Porter and Ira Wampler; and sisters, Lynn Murray (Carey) and Peggy Page (Tony).

Visitation: 5- 8 pm Thursday, September 16, 2021 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Friday, September 17, 2021 in the funeral home chapel.

Burial: Springfield Cemetery Annex
