Mr. James R. "Jimmy" Anderson, 80, of Bloomingdale, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at his home.

Jimmy was born in Savannah, Georgia.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Margie Anderson, his first wife and mother of his sons, Patricia Harris Anderson, his second wife, Frances Anderson, as well as two brothers, Ricky Anderson and Barry Anderson.  He will be remembered as a hard worker and was the owner/operator of Aaction Auto Parts.  He attended Bethesda Church, was a Shriner with the Alee Temple, and was a former Pooler City Council member.  He was a dedicated husband and father and will be missed.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Todd and Vicki Anderson, Scott and Andrea Anderson; grandchildren, Conner Anderson, Kaitlyn Anderson, Christa and Tony Tran, Auburn Anderson, and Ansley Anderson; brothers, Jerry Anderson, Robert Anderson, and Edward Anderson, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral to honor Jimmy's life will be on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Paul Broussard officiating.  The burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery on Little Neck Road.
