Guyton-Mr. James H. Parks, 80, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at his home.
Mr. James was born to the late Herbert & Cora Lee Parks. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was a Effingham Volunteer Fireman. He retired from Great Dane and enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Mike & Diane Parks; grandchildren, Heather Parks & Brian Rafferty, Michael & Shelby Parks; step-grandchildren, Marina Powell, Malissa Powell, and Marissa Powell; great-grandchildren, Isabella Rafferty, Markayla Parks, and Riley Parks; brother and sister-in-law, Everett & Catherine Parks; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
