Obituary
Savannah – Mr. James (Jim) Richard Dostal, 62, passed away June 9, 2011.
Jim, Bronze Star Recipient, was a crew chief for the 3/17th Air Cavalry and served diligently for two tours in Vietnam. His love of aviation, drag racing, family, friends and pets brought him much joy through the years.
He is remembered by his loving wife, Ruth Kessler Dostal; daughter, Sandra Dostal Thornton and her husband, Rick Thornton; daughter, Elizabeth Louise Dostal and grand daughter, Samantha Louise Dostal. Jim is also survived by his identical twin brother, John Roger Dostal who served alongside his twin brother and two older Dostal brothers in Vietnam.
Visitation: 2-4 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
A Memorial will be held at a later date.
