Mr. James Robert Rowland, 84, of Midway, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 at his home.

He was born in Wheeler County to the late Henry Columbus & Pearl Warnock Rowland.  He was a member of the First United Pentacostal Church.  He was the former owner/operator of Cain's Upholstery and served his country in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Madeline Rowland; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia A. & Larry Dunlap; 4 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Norma Lee, Virginia, Dexter and Earl, and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Monday at the First United Pentacostal Church located at 1735 Grove Point Road in Savannah from 11 a.m. until 12 noon followed by the funeral at 12 noon.  Burial will follow at Hilcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
