James R. "Tater" Babb

Guyton – James R. "Tater" Babb, 85, passed away January 27, 2020 at his residence.

The Pennsylvania native served in the U.S. Army and retired from National Gypsum. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Naomi Babb; brothers, Bill and Charlie Babb; and step-son, Darnell Farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Miriam Babb; step-son, Brian Farmer (Mary); daughter-in-law, Karen Cote (Jon); grandchildren, Justin Farmer (Rachel), Kelly Farmer, Daniel Farmer (Ashley), David Pemberton, and Chase Lindquist; great-grandchildren, Harley Farmer and Landon Pemberton.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. in the chapel.

Interment will follow in Guyton Cemetery.
