James F. Trussell

James F. Trussell, 53, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 28, 2026 at his home.

James will be missed by his wife of 32 years, Gayle E. Trussell; parents, Johnny and Sarah Trussell; nieces, Bayleigh Rodriguez (Christian), Katelyn Womble (Caleb), Kaleigh Reyes (Daniel) and Lauren Novack (Adam); nephew, Chris Butler; sister-in-law, Frances E. Todd (Steve), as well as his fur babies, Pepper, Penelope, and Harley Belle.

James was a graduate of Groves High School and was employed with the ILA 1475 Clerks and Checkers. He was preceded in death by his brother, Steven J. Trussell. He enjoyed collecting arrowheads, was a war history buff, and anything Mafia related. He will be remembered for being very intelligent and kind hearted.

The visitation will be on Friday, October 2, 2026 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at the funeral home.
