James Edward Tuten
Port Wentworth- James Edward Tuten, 91, died April 16, 2016 at Ogeechee Area Hospice.
The Allendale, SC native was a retired mechanic with DeVan Auto Service and Dixie Motors. He was a member of the Georgia Hussars and he was preceded in death by his wife, Miriam "Peggy" Tuten. After his wife's death he moved to Sylvania to be with his daughter.
Survivors include his daughters, Elizabeth Tuten Sessions (Ronnie) and Linda Tuten Stone (Charles); grandchildren, Karen Sessions, Dwayne Sessions, Eddie Stone (Olivia), and Keith Stone; a great-granddaughter, Isabella Stone; and a niece, Mildred Tangway.
Visitation: 6-8 pm Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in the funeral home.
Graveside service: 2 pm Wednesday, April 20, 2016 in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
