Mrs. Jane Hall Oglesby, 77, of Garden City, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

She was born in Chatham County to the late Finos A. Hall, Sr. & Flora Lanier Hall.  She was also preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, William E. "Gene" Oglesby, Sr., and her brother, F. Aaron Hall, Jr.  She grew up attending Woodlawn Baptist Church and later became a member of Garden City United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed the outdoors, attending the Garden City Senior Citizens, watching the Braves and the Bulldogs.

Survivors include her children, William E. "Billy" Oglesby, Jr., and Kimberly O. Kersey (Billy); grandchildren, Brent Kersey (Heather), Lane Oglesby (Monica), Kaylan Warner (Dustin), Lee Oglesby (Cass), and Kevin Kersey (Michele); nine great-grandchildren and one on the way, as well as a number of in-laws, nieces and nephews.

The graveside funeral and burial will be on Monday, December 28 ^th at 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery located at 1336 Dean Forest Road in Garden City with Rev. Gary Johnson officiating.
