Pooler – Janell Mincey Wall passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and friends on September 26, 2015.
Janell was born in Pineora, GA on December 11, 1940 and was a resident of Pooler, GA for sixty years. She was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.
Janell was a long time member of Rothwell Baptist Church, where she also taught preschool and kindergarten for twenty-five years. Teaching young minds and sharing the good news about Jesus was her passion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stevie Wall, Sr.; father, Henry Mincey; sisters, Sybil Burnside and Bonnie Gail Mincey.
Janell is survived by her mother, Varnell Mincey; three children, Stevie Wall, Jr. and wife, Donna, David Wall and Jessica Wall; granddaughters, Ashley Wall, Richelle Laughinghouse and Olivia Mears; siblings, Jimmie Mincey and wife, Nancy, Darlene Waters, Wanda Paul and husband Jack, and brother-in-law, Bill Burnside; several nieces and nephews and many extended family members.
Janell's children would like to thank Affinis Hospice, especially Paula Bass, RN, for their wonderful care.
The family will celebrate her life during a private service on October 3rd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Janell Mincey Wall to Rothwell Baptist Church at 216 Rothwell Street, Pooler, GA 31322.
