In Loving Memory of
Janice Ann Boyd Colson Ahrens
Springfield- Janice Ann Boyd Colson Ahrens, 67, died January 8, 2015 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
The Savannah native was a retired office manager with Stubbs Oil Company after 27 dedicated years. She had much love and respect for the Stubbs family and ran their business as if it was her own. She had previously worked for Dr. John Dekle as his secretary.
She was a loving, devoted, caring, loyal, generous wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all that was blessed to know her. She will be taking all our hearts with her and will be greatly missed by all. God must have needed her help, because he took her from us much too soon.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 35 years, Wm. "Mark" Ahrens; children, Angela Yvette Worrell Bryant (Rick) and B. Richard Colson, Jr. (Cheri); two brothers, Addison Boyd and Lamar Braddy; two grandchildren, William Britt Worrell and Keely Brianna Worrell; and her beloved grandpuppy, Taffy.
Memorial Service: 4 pm Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in the funeral home chapel with visitation an hour prior to the service.
