Janice Rodriguez

Our darling Janice Rodriguez, unexpectedly left us on Friday, August 11, 2023, at the time of her passing Janice was 35 years old.

Janice was born in Bethlehem Pennsylvania on May 2, 1988, to Janet Ramos (Mother) and Father (Juan E. Rodriguez).

Janice graduated from Virginia Tech College as a Pastry Chef, Certified Medical Assistant and phlebotomist. Janice served in the Army for eight years where she worked as a Unit Supply Specialist.

Janice loved her job as a Medical Assistant at Memorial Health University Medical Center located in Savannah Georgia.

She was a die-hard Steelers fan, who loved being around her friends and family, going on adventures with her boyfriend Jesus Ruiz Jr., and singing Karaoke.

Janice leaves behind her long-term partner of eight years, Jesus Ruiz Jr.; her fourteen-year-old son, Alexander Thomas Fleming; mother Janet Ramos; father, Juan E. Rodrigue; stepmother, Carmen Rodriguez; half-brother, Luis A. Otero; half-brother, Juan C. Rodriguez; stepbrother, Bruce Lopez; stepsister, Erica Lopez; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews,  cousins and a ton of friends who will all miss her dearly.

Janice always brought a smile to everyone's face and will be dearly missed.

The visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the funeral home.  The funeral to honor Janice's life will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.

A repass will be held after the service at Rachel's Place, 1190 King George Blvd., Savannah, GA  31419.
