Ms. Jeanette C. Smith, 84, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 at her home.

She was born in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Lawrence Buren Cook and Alma Harper Cook.  She was also preceded in death by two sons, James Lawrence Walker and Joe Allen Walker, as well as a daughter, Thelma Vanise Miller.  She retired from Gulfstream and was a believer in the Lord.  She enjoyed reading books, lighthouses, and bird watching.

Survivors include her daughter, Jeanette "Jet" Campla; son, Emory Lee Smith, II; grandchildren, Kenneth D. Kiser (Kim), Hope L. Cole (Daniel), Jeanette Miller, Shannan Miller, and James Walker; great-grandson, Kody Kiser; great-granddaughter, Samantha Cole.

The graveside funeral and burial to honor Jeanette's life will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery located at 1336 Dean Forest Road in Garden City with Neil Corkery officiating.  The funeral will be for family only.
