Guyton- Jennifer Roberson McIntyre, 53, died Monday, May 9, 2011 at her residence.

The Savannah native was a retired physical education teacher, having taught at Sandhill Elementary and South Effingham Elementary Schools. She was a member of Countryside Baptist Church, GAHPERD, Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority, and the Armstrong Athletic Hall of Fame.

Survivors include her husband, Michael McIntyre of Guyton; sons, Matthew and Justin McIntyre of Guyton; sister, Mary Roberson of Savannah; brother, Floyd Roberson (Nancy) of Savannah; nieces, Rachel Hamilton Pickard of Guyton, Ashtin Roberson of Albuquerque, NM, Lindsey McIntyre of Savannah, Abbey McIntyre of Rincon, MacKenzie McIntyre of Rincon, and Gloria Cross of Fayetteville, NC; nephews, Jeffrey Hamilton of Rincon and Bryce Roberson of Statesboro.

Visitation: 6-8 pm Thursday in the funeral home.

Funeral: 3 pm Friday, May 13, 2011 at Countryside Baptist Church.

Interment: Effingham Memorial Gardens
