Pooler-Jennifer Brook Stephens, 13, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014 at her home.
Jennifer was born in Savannah and was a member of Trinity Church of God. She was a 7th grade student at West Chatham Middle School and a member of the Girl Scouts. She enjoyed singing and writing music, playing the guitar, playing softball, and drawing and designing clothing. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Herbert Stephens, and a uncle, Alfred Stephens.
Survivors include her parents, Ben & Christy Stephens; 3 brothers, Brandon Megginson, Phillip Megginson and Joshua Stephens; sister-in-law, Samantha Megginson grandparents, Elizabeth Stephens, Jody & James Elder and John Malone as well as a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece, Karlee Megginson and a nephew, Blake Megginson.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. on Thursday at Trinity Church of God located at 2202 Hwy 80 in Garden City. Burial will follow lunch at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Toombs County
