Jeremiah David Shearouse, Sr., 42, of Bloomingdale, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at his home.

Jeremiah was born in Savannah, Georgia. He acknowledged being a believer and is in the presence of Jesus Christ. He loved with everything that he had, was kind, funny, and always willing to help. He will be remembered for being an awesome husband and a loving father.

Survivors include his wife, Jamie Lynn Shearouse; daughter, Katelyn Shea Shearouse; sons, Jeremiah David Shearouse II, and Jayden Daniel Shearouse; mother, Lorrie Crosby (Leonard); father, Charles Shearouse, Sr. (deceased); half-brothers, Bruce Shearouse, Sean Shearouse, Richard Shearouse (deceased), and Bryan Shearouse; step-brothers, Devlin Crosby and Aric Crosby; step-sister, Amy Stepien; father-in-law, James Toler; mother-in-law, Becky Toler (deceased); brother-in-law, Adam Toler (Joyce); aunts and uncles, Jerry Rom (deceased), Evelyn Lloyd (Donald-deceased), Connie Messer (Roy-deceased), Debra Ryan, Cindy Fuertes (deceased), and Angel Curry (James), as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at South Newington Baptist Church. The memorial service to honor Jeremiah's life will follow at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary of the church. The church is located at 453 John Carter Road in Bloomingdale, Georgia. Plants may be delivered to the funeral home no later than 8 a.m. on Wednesday, or may be delivered to the church.
