Jerry Lynn "Barefoot" Cantaline

Jerry Lynn “Barefoot” Cantaline, 67, of Guyton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026 at his son’s home.

Jerry will be missed by his son, Jeremy Ryan Cantaline; grandson, Josiah Lee Cantaline; former wife, Debra Dees Cantaline; brother, Jeffrey Cantaline (Patricia); sisters-in-law, Karen Cantaline Keech and Effie Cantaline; several nieces and nephews.

Jerry was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina and had lived in Guyton for the past 17 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Cantaline and Lurene Epting, as well as a brother, Glenn Cantaline. Jerry served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his free time, and was very passionate about music. He was a firm believer in the Lord and attended Emmanuel Community Church in Effingham County.

The visitation will be on Friday, July 10, 2026 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.  The memorial service to honor Jerry's life will follow at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.  The graveside funeral and burial with military honors will follow at 3 p.m. at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 8819 U.S. Highway 301 in Glennville, Georgia.
