Guyton – Jerry Martin Inglis, 74, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
The Indiana native retired from Gulfstream and was a member of Rincon First Christian Church. He loved working with kids, helping people, and treated everyone like family. He had a love of cars and enjoyed assisting people when buying a car.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick Gene Inglis, Sr. and Brunelle Flowers; sisters, Sharon Inglis and Vickie Robison.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Marie S. Inglis; children, Laura Inglis of Bonney Lake, WA, David Inglis (Bridget) of Beaverton, OR, Tim Inglis (Stacey) of Canton, and Stephen Inglis (Jessica) of Statesboro; 10 grandchildren; brother, Fred Inglis (Teena) of Kokomo, IN; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
A celebration of life service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Rincon First Christian Church.
