Master Chief Gerald C. "Jerry" Mobley

Clyo- Master Chief Gerald C. "Jerry" Mobley, 61, died Monday, November 28, 2011 at Effingham Hospital.

The Chatham County native had retired from the US Navy. He had graduated from Savannah High and received a degree from DeVry University. Jerry had been a long time member of Morningside Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca "Becky" Mobley; sons, Scott C. Mobley, M. Sean Mobley (Chrissy), and Joey A. Mobley; sisters, Linda Bacon (Jerry) and Ellen McPeters (Danny); a granddaughter, Grace E. Mobley; and several step-sisters, step-brothers, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation: 6-8 pm Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Thursday, December 1, 2011 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Bonaventure Cemetery
