SAVANNAH: Mr. Jerry Preston Morgan, 78, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011 at his home after a long illness.
Mr. Morgan was born in Dayton, OH to the late James D. Morgan and Corinne Jordan. He served 2 years in the Korean War. He was a graduate of Otterbein College and a retired U.S. Chief Probation / Parole Officer in Savannah and also was a retired Georgia DOT Recruiter located in Atlanta.
He is survived by his wife, Chloe Morgan; children, Kristeena Crabb (Robert), Cindy Copland and Kendall Morgan; thirteen grandchildren; brother, James Morgan (Phyllis) and several nieces and nephews.
