Jesse Morgan Grooms

Mr. Jesse Morgan Grooms, 78, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Memorial Hospital.

Morgan will be missed by his wife of 32 years, Gwendolyn J. Grooms; daughter, Serena Joergensen; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Kora Grooms; grandchildren, Brody, Mason, Gemma, and Phoebe; brother, Michael Grooms; sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Lee Hesson; several nieces, nephews, and his beloved dog, Kobe.

Morgan was born in Brooklet, Georgia and had lived in Pooler for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Louise Davis Grooms. He was the owner/operator of E.S. Travelers and a faithful member of Trinity Pooler Church. He loved the outdoors, camping, and fishing. He will be remembered for being a Christian as well as a devoted family man.

The visitation will be on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral to honor Morgan’s life will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at the Brooklet City Cemetery.
