Springfield- Jesse L. Petrea, 65, passed away, Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Effingham Hospital.

The Effingham County native was retired from Derst Bakery. He loved working in his yard.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Petrea; children, Michael Petrea, Donna Tuttle, Amillia Petrea, Tim Dutcher, Kim Freeman, and Daren Dutcher; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 5-7 pm Sunday, August 29, 2021 in the funeral home.

Graveside service: 10 am Monday, August 30, 2021 at Effingham Memorial Gardens.
