Jessie William "Willie" Stanfield, 83, passed away Saturday November 22, 2025 at his residence.

Jessie was born September 1, 1942, in Glennville to the late Joe Stanfield and the late Rosella Stanfield.    He was also preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.  He was a retired forklift operator from International Paper.  He enjoyed woodworking, building birdhouses and the treasured whirlybird that many family and friends have flying in their yards.

He is survived by his wife Pat Stanfield; three children: Tina (Scott) Birthisel, Jimmy Stanfield and Michael Stanfield; one stepson: Charles Turner; two grandchildren: Emilee and Ben Birthisel, step grandson: Griffin Turner; brother: Joe Stanfield, Jr.; and a very special friend: Stephanie "Sunshine" Skinner.

The family will honor his request for cremation and will hold a service at a later date.
