Obituary
Mr. Jessie Duaine Waters, 79, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Candler Hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Waters was born in Tattnall County to the late Willie Warren Waters and Myrtice Esther Waters. He was also preceded in death by a son, Micheal Waters. He was a member of Alpha United Methodist Church and retired from the Operating Engineers Local 474. He loved working outdoors, including tinkering in his shop.
Survivors include his wife, Zella Mae Butler Waters; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff & Karen Waters and Darnell & Carol Waters; sister, Sandra Keen; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Alpha United Methodist Church located at 5 East U.S. Hwy. 80 in Bloomingdale with burial to follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
