It's with heavy hearts that we come together today.  Our beloved father, son, and friend, Jimmie Mitchel Bryant fell asleep in death Dec. 10th at the age of 48. He will be remembered for his deep love for his family. He loved spending time with his children, as well as cooking their favorite meals. He loved to work with his hands and made the statement that if he wasn't doing anything, "he would feel useless." He had a mild and calm spirit, as well as a love for music and football. He loved animals, especially his Boston Terrier "Bashy." He enjoyed the show Vikings and admired their culture. Survivors include his children, James and Janie Bryant; his mother, Sandy Payne (David Payne); and his sister Kellie Lindsey. He is proceeded in death by his father, Jimmy Earl Bryant; his uncle, Johnny Bryant; and his grandparents, Jimmy Lee and Louise Bryant.  The visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM on Sunday, December 15th at Thomas C. Strickland and Sons Funeral Home. The memorial service to honor Mitchel's life will follow at 4:00 PM in the chapel at the funeral home. Thomas C.
