Pooler-Mrs. Jimmie L. Godwin, 83, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2009 at The
Place at Pooler.
Mrs. Godwin was born in Brooks County and was preceded in death by her husband,
Robert A. Godwin. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pooler, was a great
mother and a better cook.
Survivors include her children, Doug Archer of Winder, Juanita G. Wiesen of Marietta
and Jean Godwin of Pooler and three grandchildren.
Funeral: 10 a.m. on Monday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at
Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery on Dean Forest Road.
Remembrances may be given to the First Baptist Church of Pooler Building Fund, P.O.
Box 506, Pooler, GA 31322.
