Obituary

Guyton – Jimmy Glen Cantaline "Nashville", 70, passed away September 12, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family.

The Effingham County native retired from Yancey Equipment.  He had a love for music and playing guitar.  He was a member of multiple bands throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Olen Cantaline and Annie Lurene White Cantaline.

Survivors include his wife, Effie McCall Cantaline; son, Shawn Cantaline (Stacy); grandsons, Tyler Cantaline and Lance Cantaline; brothers, Jeffrey Cantaline (Trish) and Jerry Cantaline; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2025 followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
