Jimmy N. Scott, 78, of Guyton, GA passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017. He was born on March 19, 1939 in Swainsboro, GA to Randolph and Reba Scott.
He moved to Savannah as a child and graduated from Commercial High School in 1957. He worked as an automotive paint technician in Savannah for many years before establishing Scott's Auto Body & Refinishing, Inc. in 1991, which is still in operation today. Jimmy was a hard worker even after his retirement, often doing yard work and various projects around the house to keep busy.
He loved his family above all else. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, Paige, of 56 years, his two sons, Shawn and Steve, and especially his grandchildren.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents Randolph and Reba Scott. His survivors include his wife Paige O. Scott, their two sons and their wives, Shawn & Sallie Scott and Steve & Stacie Scott, their five grandchildren, Seth & Hannah Scott, Paige Scott, Shane & Liz Therault, Grady Newton, and Corrie Newton, brother, Hugh (Alberta) Scott, sister, Joyce (Johnnie) Floyd, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Remembrances can be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
