Black Creek - Mrs. Jo Lynda (Jodi) Moore Yardman died August 21, 2009 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Jodi was born December 19, 1961 to LTJG Curtis E. (Gene) Moore and Linda C. Darnell Moore at the Norfolk Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, VA. She attended schools in Franklin, VA and Garden City, GA. She Graduated from Wayne Valley High School, Wayne, NJ and Georgia Southern University, Statesboro, GA. Jodi was married to Scott Alan Yardman on June 7, 1986 at First Baptist Church, Garden City, GA. They began and have operated Scott Equipment Company in Savannah, GA for many years and have made their home in Black Creek, GA. Jodi was a 35 year member of First Baptist Church, Garden City. She was so very appreciative of the loving thoughts and prayers of so many who gave in so many ways in support of Jodi and her family. Special gratitude goes to the "Heart Sister's", a close group of friends whose love, care and support have been immeasurable. Preceding in death are her grandparents, Jesse and Mildred Darnell of Crestview, FL and Joe and Hester Moore of Knoxville, TN.

Survivors include her husband, Scott; son, Brian Alan; daughter, Jessica Michelle all from Black Creek, GA.; parents, Gene and Linda Moore of Loudon, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Curt and Geni Moore of Maryville, TN along with their children, Michael, Madison and Bradley.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Garden City First Baptist Church with internment to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West.
