Rincon – Joan Shirley Austin Sesock, 82, passed away November 17, 2025 at Hospice Savannah.

The New York native formerly worked as a hairdresser and then a teacher at a beauty college.  She did volunteer work with Hospice and also at Effingham Care Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Kathryn Austin; and her husband, Ed Sesock.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph A. Kimball; children, Paul Sesock (Darlin), Thomas Sesock, and Stacia Berben (Daniel); her adopted daughter, Diana Endres; 8 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; sister, Kathy Nardacci; brother, Carl Austin; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2025 at New Life Worship Center in Rincon.
