Joan Marie Hilboldt-Stretch, January 28, 1961 - June 16, 2023, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away.  She was the beloved wife of Thomas J. Stretch, Jr., who told her he loved her every day.  She was the daughter of the late Thomas J. Hilboldt and Linda Hilboldt (nee Ketcherside).  Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Thomas P. Hilboldt (Roxanne), Ann Kateman (Dan) and Cathy Noel (Tom).  Treasured aunt of Ross Vandever (Chrissy), Laura (Mark) Enlow, Kristy Kirkhart (Aaron), Nicholas Hilboldt (Katie), Erich VonNida, Michael Kateman, Samantha Noel and Kyle Kateman.  They were truly the greatest and purest joys in her life.  She also leaves her best friend of 50 years, Elaine Bernsen (and family), who was like a sister to her and the funniest friend someone could have.  Joan was also a sister-in-law to Noreen and Dan Fishback, nephew Tim Fishback (Claire), niece Jesssica Stoll (Mike), great-aunt, niece, cousin to many, namely Vicki Weiner and family, the Stauss families, the Bonzano family, the Leahey families and many Hilboldt cousins.  She leaves behind so many friends who filled her life with love, laughter, and good times, in particular Germaine Komor, Renee Prueitt, her bowling friends, and the "Group", as well as so many good friends that she worked with throughout the years.  Also, a special thank you to Priscilla, the Prayer Lady, as well as her caregiver, Talicia Mitchell, who went above and beyond.  Joan had a special spot in her heart for babies, children and the poor, and would appreciate donations to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Toys for Tots, or St. Louis Food Bank.  Joan never wanted anyone to feel left out.  There will be a private burial at a later date.  Thomas C.
