Obituary
Pooler-Mrs. Joan Gibbs Holland, 62, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Joan was born in Savannah to the late James & Juanita Gibbs. She was also preceded in death by two grandsons, Ryan Youngblood and Tyler Lawson and a brother-in-law, Robbie Exley.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Bruce Holland; children, Brian & Wanda Holland, Juanette & Robbie Youngblood and Amy & Mill Lawson; grandchildren, Haley Holland, Logan Lawson and Kaitlin Holland; sister, Robin Exley; brothers, Glenn & Marie Gibbs and Randy Gibbs; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Matt & Linda Garbett; brother-in-law, Punkin Holland and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Newton Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Odyssey Hospice, including caregivers, Paula Bower and Carole Gibbons, for the care given to Mrs. Joan.
