Stillmore-Mrs. Joan Anna Spearman, 75, died on Monday, August 20, 2007 at Candler Hospital with her family at her side.
Mrs. Spearman was born in Philadelphia, PA and had lived in Garden City for forty-six years before moving to Stillmore in 2002. She was a homemakerand a member of the Pooler First Baptist Church and attended MorningStar Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and granny.
Survivors include her devoted husband of fifty-six years, Beatty Alvin "Al" Spearman of Stillmore; children, Linda Spearman Davis of Savannah, Susan Spearman Andrews & David of Pooler and Beatty Alvin "Bubba" Spearman, Jr. & Brenda of Bloomingdale; grandchildren, Stevie Andrews & Laura of Pooler, Allen Andrews of Stillmore, Lindsay Davis of Savannah, Courtney Andrews of Pooler and Taylor Davis of Savannah; sister, Betty Fleckinstein of New Jersey; brother, Ernest V. Bell, Jr. of New Jersey; great-aunt, Sophie Chittick of Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 10 a.m. on Friday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery on Dean Forest Road.
