Mrs. JoAnn Boger, 81, of Pembroke, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at her home.
JoAnn was born in Trenton, New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph A. and Elizabeth McGuire, Sr., her husband, Richard Solomon Lewis Boger, Sr., a son, Michael Lewis Boger, and her brother, Joseph A. McGuire, Jr. JoAnn was a HUGE Elvis fan. She will be remembered for being a strong, independent lady who was always there to help pick up the pieces. She felt that if she wasn't helping someone, she wasn't happy.
Survivors include Glenn Smith; her children, Mark Boger, Patricia Boger, Edward Boger, Jeffrey Boger, and Richard Boger, Jr.; step-children, Barbara Brown and family, Randall Boger and family, Linda Lanier and family; grandchildren, Cameron Boger, Caleb Boger, James Boger, Roger Cothron, and Christine Moody; great-grandchildren, Tyler Moody, Makayla Moody, and Nevaeh Cothron.
The visitation will be on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home in Pooler.
There will be an additional visitation on Monday, October 30, 2023 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Brett Funeral Home in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The graveside funeral and burial to honor JoAnn's life will be on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in St. Petersburg, Florida.
