Ms. Joann Lawler, 74, of Bloomingdale, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016.
Joann was born in Savannah to the late Walter & Annie Denton. She was a member of Lifespring Worship Center in Bloomingdale, and had formerly attended the Assembly of God Church in Vidalia. She was a hard worker, always doing what it took to provide for her family. She was known as the "Shrimp Lady" and also worked as a floral designer.
Survivors include her sons and their wives, Wayne Lawler & Terry, Michael Lawler, Joey Lawler & Michelle, and Bobby Lawler, Jr. & Sharon; siblings, Carlene Weldon and Raymond Denton; grandchildren, Amanda, Misty, Mathew, Chloe, Kendall, Catherine, Kristan, and Maci; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Caleb, Kevin, Mark, and Kayden, and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be on Monday, September 5, 2016 from 7 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
The memorial service will be Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Lifespring Worship Center located at 1105 E. U.S. Hwy. 80 in Bloomingdale
