Joanne Blalock Wesley

Rincon – Joanne Blalock Wesley, 78, passed away August 20, 2026 at Select Specialty Hospital.

The Chatham County native was a member of Fellowship Bible Church where she was very involved and loved singing. She enjoyed painting, crafts, and wreath making. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Claude Blalock and Bertie Mae Perkins Blalock; and her husband, Willis Loyd Wesley.

Survivors include her children, Kimberly Wesley, Kevin Wesley, Krissy Wesley, Keith Wesley (Lisa), and Phyllis Phelps (David); grandchildren, Joshua Eagans (Morgan), Taylor Eagans, Benjamin Wesley, and Bethany Phelps; great-grandchildren, Liam Eagans and Emily Eagans; sister, Debra Gay (Kenneth); sister-in-law, Joella Wesley; niece, Karmin Gay Edwards (Kyle); nephew, Matthew Gay; special cousin who was like a brother, Ronald Jones (Paulina); great-nieces and nephews, Annsleigh Sizemore, Kourtney Sizemore, Kasey Sizemore, Carson Gay, Abigail Gay, and Cameron Gay.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2026 at Fellowship Bible Church followed by funeral services at 2 p.m.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
