Pooler-Mrs. Joanne C. Irvine, 76, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2011 at Hospice Savannah.
Mrs. Irvine was born in Boston, MA to the late George Roy, Sr. & Anna Foley Roy. She retired from Verizon and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Paul W. Irvine of Pooler; children, Jeanne M. Irvine of Hanover, MA and Julie A. (Lance) Moore of Guyton; grandchildren, Ashley M. Hotton, Courtney M. Hotton and Seth S. Moore; sister, Claire (Edward) Sullivan of Plymouth, MA/Naples, FL; brother, George (Eileen) Roy, Jr. of Daytona, FL; brother-in-law, George R. Irvin of Naples, FL and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, 901 West Highway 80, Pooler, GA.
Remembrances may be given to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
