Mr. Joe Brown, 78, of Ellabell, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at his home.

Joe was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina to the late William Alexander Brown and Mary Ellen Huggins Brown.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Crystal Marie Roberson Brown, brother, William Brown, and a sister, Betty George.  He was a member of South Newington Baptist Church and retired from Heintzelman Truck Center.  He enjoyed boating, wood working, and spending time with his family.  He was a huge Miami Dolphins fan and had the privilege of meeting Coach Don Shula.

Survivors include his children, Donna Kay Whitley, Anna Angus, Denise McDonald, Donna Angus Myers, Deneen Bartram, and Scott Angus; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Earl Brown; sisters, Ruth Carter and Jeanette Gibson, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The memorial service to honor Joe's life will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at South Newington Baptist Church located at 453 John Carter Road, Bloomingdale, GA.
