Mr. Joe Alton Cribbs, 71, of Guyton Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

Joe was born in Savannah, Georgia and had lived in Guyton for a number of years.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Robert Cribbs and Betty Lucille Brantley Cribbs, as well as a brother, Larry Edward Cribbs.  Joe was a talented and gifted carpenter.  He has been described as a smart, hard-working, true southern gentleman.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and playing half-rubber.  He was dedicated to his family.

Survivors include his wife, Rita Antone; brother, David C. Cribbs; half-brother, Tracy Richey; children, Christopher Antone, Gayla Palacios, and Alicia Hughes; nine grandchildren, Kyra, Lydia, Ruby, Jude, Lincoln, Marco, Sofia, Tida, and Alya; aunts, Norma Jean Taranovich and Mary McKuhen, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Joe's wishes were to be cremated with no formal service.
