Springfield- Joe B. Oliver, Sr., 86, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

The Screven County native was retired from Union Camp. He was owner/operator of Oliver Enterprises and was a farmer. Joe loved his family and his animals. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe T. & Ollie Mae Oliver; a sister, Dollie Oliver; and a brother, Jimmy Oliver.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Oliver; children, Joe Oliver, Jr. (Patti), Linda Oliver Rountree (Bubba), Lisa Oliver Longworth, Laura Oliver, Joy Oliver Dickey (Buddy), Elizabeth Boyd Whitten (Kenny), Otis Boyd, and Anita Boyd Bruce; brother, Tony Oliver (Wonnie); sister-in-law, Frances Oliver; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 6 – 8 pm Thursday, April 15, 2021 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 10 am Friday, April 16, 2021 in the funeral home chapel.
