Joey William Sikes
Rincon- Joey William Sikes, 57, passed away Monday, December 12, 2016.
The Effingham County native was an honor graduate of Effingham County High School and Armstrong State College, having earned a B.S. in Computer Science and Political Science. He was employed by the Chatham County Board of Education, having also worked at Memorial Health and Verisign. Joey was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Sikes.
Survivors include his father, Roy W. Sikes (Mary); mother, Bernice Harrelson Reid; two brothers, Stephen Sikes and Timothy "Tim" Sikes; and two step-sisters, Terri Varnell (Ronnie) and Tammi Burns (Greg).
Visitation: 10-11 am Friday, December 16, 2016 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 am Friday, December 16, 2016 in the funeral home chapel.
Interment: Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
