John Douglas Best

Guyton- John Douglas Best, 33, died Saturday, April 14, 2018.

The Effingham County native was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church. John Douglas was a 2002 graduate of South Effingham High School and was currently attending Georgia Southern University. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, being with friends, and helping others.

Survivors include his parents, Johnnie & Virginia Ella Davis Best; brother, Benjamin Darlington Best; aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

Funeral: 3 pm Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Sand Hill Baptist Church.

Interment: Sand Hill Baptist Church Cemetery
