John Michael Cheeks
Guyton- John Michael Cheeks was born on May 25, 1987 and passed away February 10, 2014.
He found joy and fulfillment in being extremely independent and self reliant. John Michael immensely enjoyed his employment as a driver for Estes Express Lines. He was kindhearted and quick witted with a smile that lit up the room. John Michael loved his wife deeply and was proud of his home. He will be sorely missed.
Survivors include his wife, Leslie M. Cheeks; parents, John & Angie Cheeks; brothers, Josiah Cheeks and Paul Cheeks (Kara); sister, Stephanie Cheeks; paternal grandparents, John & June Cheeks; maternal grandfather, Freddie Jones; maternal grandmother, Ann Browning; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation: 6-8 pm Wednesday, February 12, 2014 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 am Thursday, February 13, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Rincon.
Interment: Rincon Cemetery
