John Curtis Dijkstra, 19, of Statesboro and formerly of Bloomingdale, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021.

John was born in Savannah and was currently a freshman at Georgia Southern University.  He had attended Liberty Christian Fellowship Church in Guyton and had worked at the Front Porch in Pooler.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, mudding, four-wheeling, welding, and about anything outdoors.

Survivors include his parents, Paul and Kristen Dijkstra; sisters, Rachel Dijkstra and Elise Dijkstra, and his grandfather, John R. Dijkstra.

The celebration of John's life and burial will be private.
