Mr. John Roy Duncan, Jr., 73, of Savannah, GA, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

John was born in Rome, GA to the late John Roy Duncan, Sr. and Clessie Emily Tarlton Duncan.  He was a 1966 graduate of Groves High School and served his country in the U.S. Army.  He formerly was employed at the Red Baron Pub and the Savannah River Queen, and was the co-owner/operator of Pop's Lounge for 16 years.  He will be remembered for his unique laugh, sense of humor and the love he had for his family.

Survivors include his children, Darlene Duncan Fraley (Patrick), Derrell Duncan (Susie), Terrell Duncan (Karmen), Tony Duncan (Laura), Trent Duncan (Lori) and Kristin Duncan; 19 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Janie Kozal (Harry), Frances Lanier, Herb Duncan, Arnold Duncan (Lee), and Beth Duncan, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.  The graveside funeral and burial will be on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 12 noon at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens located at 315 Greenwich Road in Savannah.
