Obituary
POOLER: Mr. John C. Horn, Jr., 57, died Friday, July 8, 2011 at his residence under the care of Hospice Savannah Inc. surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John C. Horn, Sr. and Linnis Dare Horn. He was a retired Boilermaker with Local 26. He loved fishing, hunting and his kids and grandkids.
Survives include his loving wife of 37 years, Shirley Kersey Horn; sons, Chris Horn (Lara) and Derrick Horn; daughter, Miriam E. Horn; five grandchildren, Cayli, Cameron, Candyce, Brayden and Ansley Horn; brother, Cliff Horn (Anne); mother-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 10, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Effingham Memorial Gardens.
