Mr. John Jefferson "Jeff" Wilson, 77, of Meldrim, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022.

Jeff was born in Bulloch County to the late Perry Plezzy Wilson and Carrie Lucy Callahan Wilson.  He retired from Braddy Electric Company and was a member of Meldrim United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Atlanta Braves, as well as coaching softball.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Faye Parker Wilson; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and James Slater, Jean and Ronnie Purnell; grandchildren, Ashlie Genens, Jared and Chasteen Slater, Austin and Tiffany Purnell, Jill and Bradley Mathis; great-grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon Woods, Ciara Genens, Carsyn Genens, Brady Purnell, Brooks Purnell, Penelope Slater, and Banks Purnell; siblings, Janie Pope, Clarence Wilson, Mary Whaley, Tommy and Betty Wilson, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Monday, July 25, 2022 from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.  The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
