John Dennis Jenkins

Rincon – John Dennis Jenkins, 76, passed away March 20, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Jenkins was born in Florida and raised in Eulonia and graduated from Darien High School in 1960. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and worked in management for many years including M & M Supermarket, Shellhouse Restaurant, and Jenkins Plumbing Co.  He was known by his family as "Snooks" and his coworkers as "D.J." He was a member of Centerpoint Community Church.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Jenkins; children, Mike Jenkins (Laura), Scottie Jenkins (Amy), Mark Jenkins (Melissa), Kyle Jenkins, Kimber Jenkins, and Karmen Jenkins; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Judy LaRoache; brothers, Bobby Joe Jenkins, Wadace Jenkins, Dale Jenkins, Lee Jenkins, Keith Jenkins, Ronnie Jenkins, Virgil Jenkins, and Michael Hill; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel.

Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
