Mr. John Robbins, Jr., 76 of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at his home.
John was born in Black Creek, Georgia to the late John Robbins, Sr. and Mildred Todd Robbins. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Robbins.
John proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He retired as an industrial electrician working over 25 years at Kemira/Kerr McGee. He loved taking motorcycle trips to various parts of the southeast. He played golf on weekends and was a volunteer at Hunter Army Airfield Golf Course for 12 years with grounds management. He loved to fish in rivers and had various pets, including dogs/cats through the 35 years that he lived in Pooler. He enjoyed traveling to Germany to visit his wife's family and touring different areas.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Rosemarie Deloach Robbins; daughter, Melissa Robbins; brother Roy Robbins, sister and brother-in-law, Jane & Kenny Powell, brother Harry Robbins, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dale & Brenda Deloach , as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
