Mr. John H. Kennedy, 65, of Pooler, died on Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Hospice
Savannah.
Mr. Kennedy was born in Chatham County and was employed at the original Savannah
Bank for 13 years and was the retired owner/operator of Flowers Discount Bread Store.
Survivors include his wife, Detra Kennedy of Pooler; two sons and a daughter-in-law,
Sean Patrick & Dede Kennedy of Columbia, SC and Joshua A. Kennedy of Pooler;
daughter, Katherine E. Kennedy of Pooler; grandson, Noah Kennedy of Columbia, SC;
two sisters-in-law, Denise Bartlett of Pooler and Christy Hilton of Faulkville and other
family and friends.
The memorial service to honor Mr. Kennedy will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 2,
2008 in the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham
Chapel.
